To those who might read an article in "The Onion, America's Finest News Source" citing that scientists have recently discovered that the earth is flat, and feel inclined to get on the horn with the White House ... this blog is not for you.
"Kitsch" is a German term that has been used to categorize art that is considered an inferior copy of an existing style. The term is also used more loosely in referring to any art that is pretentious or in bad taste, according to Wikipedia. Susan Sontag, the great theorist, has also written numerous essays on the aesthetic, if any readers would like to further educate themselves.

how in the world can someone have their digits "in tact"?
if they weren't in tact, they would be missing. speaking as someone who had a third thumb amputated.
