1700 meters below, we are currently traveling over the Mid Atlantic Ridge! A volcanic mountain range at the bottom of the seafloor, this is where new Earth is made, and where scientists argue that continental drift occurs. I'm watching a documentary about it as I write. It is surreal to think that all of this incredible submarine footage is only meters below. Hope nobody falls overboard today.
